ABOUT US
Real change starts
with meaningful connections
“Your journey is important to us, and we're here to support you every step of the way”
Alina started her career as a Family Counselor, helping families, young people, and teenagers deal with the difficult realities of life on the streets. Alina saw treatment turn into profound, life-altering events via the development of genuine, passionate friendships.
Effective treatment, in our view at Family Counseling, begins with building a safe, trustworthy connection where you feel fully heard and supported without passing judgment. Even now, this method still forms the foundation of our work. Amazing things can happen when someone believes in you, even if you don't.
Our Founder
A mother of four, Alina has direct experience with the intricacies of family life and the weight of emotional obligations. Her extensive counseling experience stems from her personal struggles with anxiety, trauma, and life balance. These struggles motivated her desire to provide a place where others may find the help she previously needed.
Alina, an expert and highly experienced counselor, believes in the power of honest connection with others. Her concept for Family Counseling was formed by her empathy for people and her love of nature. She wanted it to be a welcoming, pleasant place where people could be themselves without worrying about being judged.
"I was aware right away that family counseling would provide a genuine sense of acceptance for teenagers and their families. Nothing staged, nothing clinically cold just a real, secure space where you can sit down, be yourself, and have an honest conversation."
How Does a Session Proceed?
We at Family Counseling make sure that our meetings are easygoing, adaptable, and customized to meet your needs. Since all person experiences therapy differently, we recognize that connection and understanding of your goals are the most important things we can do.
The process of therapy is dynamic. Your therapist will learn more about the techniques that work best for you as your relationship with them grows. Some people prefer to talk through problems in order to achieve insight, whereas others prefer to focus on practical answers and methods.
We are aware of these methods, and our objective is to always focus each session on what will be most helpful and meaningful for you.
